Introduction and Services
Welcome to TAFVIEW COURIER. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our courier and delivery services, and by booking a delivery, using our website, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these rules. We provide pick-up, transportation, and delivery services for parcels and documents within our operating regions. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse service or reject any package at our discretion, particularly if it violates our safety protocols or packaging guidelines.
Prohibited Items and Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the safety of our staff and the public, we strictly prohibit the shipment of illegal drugs, narcotics, contraband, explosives, firearms, ammunition, flammable materials, and any hazardous, toxic, or radioactive substances. Furthermore, we do not transport live animals, perishable goods unless specially arranged, large amounts of cash, uncrossed bank drafts, stolen goods, or any items prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. As a customer, it is your responsibility to ensure that all items are securely and adequately packaged to withstand normal handling during transit. You are also required to provide accurate pick-up and delivery addresses, contact names, and phone numbers, as TAFVIEW COURIER is not liable for any delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
Pricing, Liability, and Governing Law
All our rates and charges are quoted in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS) unless otherwise stated, and payment must be made in full at the time of booking or upon pick-up or delivery as agreed upon. While we take the utmost care of your shipments, our liability for loss or damage to any package is limited to the actual value of the item or a maximum standard liability amount, whichever is lower, unless you purchase additional insurance prior to dispatch. We strive to meet all estimated delivery times but cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, traffic accidents, or governmental actions. Any claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within seven days of the expected delivery date. Finally, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.
